Consultations are free and carry no obligation. After a consultation we may provide a written proposal describing the scope of work, products, colors, price and estimated schedule. You accept it by signing or giving written approval (including by email or text) and, where requested, paying a deposit. Pricing is based on conditions visible at the consultation; hidden damage such as rot, failing substrate or lead-containing paint, or changes you request later, may require a written change order that we will not proceed on without your approval.
Scheduled dates are good-faith estimates. Exterior painting depends on surface temperature, moisture and the forecast, so work may be paused or moved because of rain, snow, wind, freezing temperatures or extreme heat. You agree to provide reasonable access to the work areas, water and electricity, and to move or allow us to move vehicles and furnishings as needed. For interior work, please remove small, fragile or valuable items first.
Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated in your proposal. Unless it says otherwise, the final balance is due upon completion following the walk-through. Balances unpaid after the due date may be subject to a late charge and reasonable collection costs as Utah law permits. You may cancel a scheduled project in writing; materials special-ordered or custom tinted before cancellation may be non-refundable.
The length and coverage of any workmanship warranty is described in your written proposal. In general it covers peeling, blistering or flaking caused by our preparation or application on surfaces we painted, and does not cover structural movement, moisture intrusion, substrate failure, normal wear, fading, abuse, acts of nature, or surfaces we recommended against painting. Paint-product warranties are provided by the manufacturer. To make a claim, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the issue.
You may use this website for lawful purposes to learn about our services and contact us. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Utah law.
These Terms and any dispute relating to our services or this website are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Any claim that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state courts in Salt Lake County, Utah.
